RO Service Charges in Nellore

The whole rate card, published. Read it as two numbers added together: the Rs 350 service / labour charge, paid once however many parts are replaced, plus the price of any parts fitted. Fitting labour is included in that Rs 350.

How to read this — worked example

A membrane change on a Nellore borewell unit: Rs 350 service charge, plus Rs 1,400 to 3,200 for the membrane itself, comes to Rs 1,750 to Rs 3,550 all in. Everything is confirmed at your door after diagnosis, before any work starts, and you pay only once the job is done.

The visit itself

• Service / labour charge — Rs 350. The labour for the visit: inspection, TDS test, a written quote before work starts, and fitting whatever parts you approve. Charged once per visit, however many parts are changed.
• General service & cleaning — quoted on the visit, once we see the condition of the unit.

Filters and cartridges (part prices, fitting included in the visit)

• Spun filter replacement — Rs 150 to 450
• Sediment filter replacement — Rs 400 to 800
• Pre-carbon filter replacement — Rs 400 to 800
• Post-carbon filter replacement — Rs 400 to 800
• RO membrane replacement — Rs 1,400 to 3,200
• Mineral / alkaline cartridge — Rs 800 to 2,000
• UV lamp replacement — Rs 1,000 to 1,500

Electrical and mechanical parts (part prices, fitting included in the visit)

• Motor / booster pump replacement — Rs 1,800 to 3,200
• SMPS / adaptor replacement — price varies per item; electrical parts are priced by model and rating
• Solenoid valve replacement — price varies per item
• Float valve replacement — price varies per item
• Leak repair (tubing, connectors, seals) — quoted at your door, since it depends on what has failed and how much tubing is involved

Installation and shifting (complete prices, no separate visit charge)

• Standard wall-mount installation — Rs 500 complete. There is no diagnosis to do on a new fit, so the Rs 350 service charge does not apply.
• Extra pipe, tap or fittings — charged by what is used, measured and quoted before fitting
• Uninstall and re-install for a house shift — Rs 850 complete. Covers removing the unit at the old house and refitting it at the new one.

Why some lines say "price varies per item"

Electrical parts and pipework genuinely cannot be priced in advance. An SMPS depends on your model and its rating; extra tubing depends on where the purifier sits in your kitchen. Publishing an invented range for those would mean changing the number at your door, which is exactly what this page exists to avoid. Everything else above is a real range.

Why the priced lines are ranges

Two houses in Nellore with the same purifier can need different work. A membrane on the coastal belt, where TDS runs 1,200 to 3,000 mg/L, wears out in roughly half the time it does inland, and needs a higher-rated membrane. The technician confirms your exact figure after diagnosis, and no work starts until you agree to it.
